Economy Class

Long-haul (US/Canada/Europe/Australia/NZ): Basic/Up/Standard fares 2 bags at 23kg each; Discount (booking class A) 1 bag at 23kg. Within Asia: Basic and Discount both 1 bag at 23kg.

Premium Economy

2 bags up to 23kg (50lb) each, all routes.

Business Class

Royal Laurel/Premium Laurel: 2 bags up to 32kg (70lb) each.

First Class

EVA Air does not currently operate a separate First Class cabin; Royal Laurel is the top tier.

Cabin Baggage

Economy Class

1 cabin bag up to 56x36x23cm (22x14x9in) or 115cm total, 7kg (15lb), plus 1 free personal item.

Business And First Class

Royal Laurel/Premium Laurel: 2 cabin bags at 7kg (15lb) each, same dimensions as Economy.

Special Items

Infants

Confirm current infant checked-baggage and stroller/car-seat policy directly at booking.

Sports Equipment

Small musical instruments (violin, ukulele, small woodwinds) under 115cm total and 7kg travel as the standard cabin bag.

Note

Overweight/extra bag: approx. $50-100, cheaper prepaid online (10-20% savings) vs. airport (20-40% higher). Infinity MileageLands Silver/Gold/Diamond all get +1 extra checked piece, weight matched to ticketed cabin.
