Premium Economy

TAP Air Portugal does not operate a distinct Premium Economy cabin.

Business Class

2 carry-on pieces (except North America routes, which match Economy's single cabin bag) and 2 checked bags at 32kg (70lb) each.

First Class

TAP Air Portugal does not operate a First Class cabin - Business/Executive is the top tier.

Cabin Baggage

Economy Class

1 cabin bag up to 55x40x20cm (22x16x8in), 10kg (22lb) - included free on every fare including Discount - plus 1 personal item up to 40x30x15cm (16x12x6in), approx. 2kg (4.4lb).

Business And First Class

2 cabin bags (except North America routes: 1, matching Economy), same dimensions as Economy.

Special Items

Infants

1 checked bag up to 10kg (22lb) and 115cm total for infants under 2; may also check a stroller, car seat or bassinet. Children 2-11 get the same allowance as adults.

Sports Equipment

Can be paid for using 9,000 TAP Miles as an alternative to cash (standard extra checked bags cannot be purchased with miles). Surfboards require a completed Declaration of Transport form or TAP may refuse carriage.

Overweight (23-32kg): approx. EUR40-100 Economy, lower per-kilo rate for Executive/Business, route- and season-dependent.
